Veterinary Pet Surgery

Surgery is a stressful time for you and your pet. Trust Pet Wellness Group to use our level of care, state-of-the-art facilities, and unmatched experience to set your mind at ease.

General & Advanced Surgery

We have a state of the art surgical facility that is equipped with surgical monitors measuring heart rate, oxygen levels, blood pressure, temperature and ECG.

We use the safest anesthesia available, which is the same anesthesia used in people, along with experienced surgical assistants. We run blood work prior to general anesthesia to be sure your pet is safe for surgery.

Our surgical recovery ward is located in our treatment room so that your pet is under constant supervision. We perform a wide range of soft tissue surgeries from spays and neuters to tumor and foreign body removals from the GI tract. Due to their specialized nature, we refer all orthopedic surgeries to specialty surgical centers so that your pet can have these complex procedures performed by a board certified surgeon.

Soft Tissue Surgery

Soft tissue surgeries are all surgeries that do not involve a pet’s muscles, joints, bones, or neurological system. From hernia repair to the removal of tumors or growths, soft tissue surgery encompasses a wide array of procedures. Call Pet Wellness Group when your pet needs the help of an experienced surgeon.

Spay & Neuter Surgery

Spaying or neutering your pet is the responsible choice, with few exceptions except for licensed breeders. This procedure will not only eliminate the risk of unexpected pregnancies but provide numerous health and behavioral benefits as well. In fact, spaying or neutering your animal may allow it to live a longer life. The procedure reduces the risk of certain infections and cancers.

The team at Pet Wellness Group has performed countless spays and neuters throughout our years in business. We can perform the surgery quickly and safely so that your pet is back home in no time at all.

Contrary to what you may have heard, spaying/neutering will not have any impact on your pet’s personality. It is a simple procedure with minimal recovery time. Before you know it, you and your pet will be falling back into old routines - with only a few health and practicality benefits to show for it.
