Bridgette Wilson, DVM

Veterinarian and Founder

Dr. Wilson has been practicing Veterinary Medicine since 2001, after graduating from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  She completed her bachelor’s degree at Thomas More College and attended St. Henry High School.

Outside of work, Dr. Wilson loves spending time with her family, enjoying the outdoors, reading and traveling.

Dr. Wilson is a native of Florence and lives with her husband, Andy, their three children: Mitchell, Cameron, and Daphne, as well as their dogs Bella and Roxie and cats Dexter, Penny and Annie.

Casey Barwell, DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Barwell graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017.  Her first four years of practice were as a Veterinary Corps Officer in the US Army Veterinary Corps.  She practiced veterinary medicine at Ellsworth AFB, SD and Wright Patterson AFB, OH prior to moving to Northern Kentucky. Her veterinary interests include internal medicine, senior/hospice care, and fear free handling. Dr. Barwell completed her bachelor’s degree at Indiana University.

Dr. Barwell grew up in Westerville, OH but currently lives in NKY with her husband, Craig. They have two daughters, Clare and Brooke, and two German Shepherds, Oakley and Suzy.

Outside of work, Dr. Barwell enjoys spending time with family, staying active, and wine tasting.

Practice Coordinator (Florence Team)

Jamie C

Practice Coordinator

Jamie has been with Pet Wellness Group since 2007 and is one of our most versatile and experienced employees!  She started with us as a veterinary technician, and in early 2019 expanded her role and works as one of our practice coordinators several days each week.  Jamie is a very positive person and the favorite part of her job is constantly meeting new people and their amazing pets.  Jamie’s positive approach helps create a calming atmosphere on many pets and our customers.

Out of the office she loves hanging out with her family, hiking, traveling and watching musicals (especially when her daughters are in them!)  You may also see Jamie riding ATV’s with her husband at nearby off-road parks or taking trips in their camper.

You’ll see her smiling face in our Florence office most days!

Jamie has three cats: Pinky, Sabrina & Luna.

Veterinary Technicians (Florence Team)

Kelsey C

Technician

Kelsey has been with Pet Wellness Group since 2016 but has been in the veterinary field since 2012. Kelsey’s favorite part of her job is being with our patients through surgery and recovery.

Kelsey brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team.  She also is a master organizer and helps keep our Florence office running like a fine-tuned machine!

In addition to keeping up with her 2 dogs, Ace and Baron, Kelsey has a passion for the outdoors.

Jennifer K

Technician

Jennifer joined Pet Wellness Group in 2018 and brings over 21 years of experience in the veterinary field with her. Jennifer graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2003 with a degree in Veterinary Science. Jennifer loves working in this field, it is truly a passion for her.

Jennifer has 2 pets: 1 dog and 1 cat (both rescues).  Eddie is a mixed breed (schnauzer, min pin, & pug mix) who is a little reserved and very loyal. Fudge the cat was a feral cat that started his life in a barn, but now lives an indoor life of luxury!

Amanda B

Technician

Amanda started with Pet Wellness Group in February 2019 but brings over 11 years of experience in the field with her.  Amanda’s favorite part of her job is developing relationships with pets and their humans.  She also has a special interest in preventative care and enjoys working on emergency cases.

Along with keeping up with her 3 active kids, Amanda has a very diverse pet family as well.  She’s Mom to 5 dogs, 2 cats and a small flock of backyard chickens!

Scarlett R

Technician

Scarlett started with Pet Wellness Group in October 2011. She loves working with all animals but has a special place in her heart for caring for animals with special needs.

Scarlett wins the award at our clinic for the most animals. She currently lives with her two dogs Beans and Cooper, and her six cats: Sweet Dee, Coal, Liam, Ryan, Artemis, and Maureen.

Monica B

Technician

Monica has been a member of our team since October 2020, but has several years of experience beyond her time at Pet Wellness Group.  Monica is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and is a registered veterinary technician.

Monica has 2 boxers, “Diesel” and “Tater Tot”, a cat named “Stevie”, a bearded dragon named “Amigo” as well as a variety of fish.

Outside of work, Monica enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time outdoors.  If she wasn’t a veterinary technican, she would love to be a National Park Ranger.

Jasmine B

Technician

Jasmine joined Pet Wellness Group in April 2021.  She is currently enrolled at the University of Cincinnati in the Veterinary Technology program and is scheduled to graduate in May 2022.  Jasmine has always been passionate about animals and began working with them in 2014.

Jasmine has a Doberman named Olive who is currently an only child, but she does plan to expand her family in the future!  Outside of work, Jasmine enjoys hiking and exploring new places.

Noah M

Technician

Noah joined Pet Wellness Group in September 2021 and brings nearly 4 years of experience in the field with him.  He is a fast learner and is quickly gaining knowledge.

Noah was born and raised in Bradenton Florida, where he grew up with many farm animals and a large family. He has always dreamed of being a Zoologist for Walt Disney World. In high school, he started his trek towards working with animals being in Agriculture, Animal Science, and Veterinary Assisting. Before he graduated he received his AEST in Animal Science.  In his free time, he likes to play the piano, which he has played for the last 10+ years. Noah has been a part of competitive concert bands and marching bands learning over 20 different instruments throughout the years.

Noah is an avid animal lover, especially for the avian variety.  He did adopt Cleopatra in the beginnings of the pandemic. She is a blacked mouth cur, and of course she is the queen of the house.
